1963 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 23 hours double decanted - Originally an unknown, appearing from the crudely waxed cork to have been Englisg bottled by either a country wine merchant or a private house.. Deeper in colour than the Constantino '63 shown alongside, dark red with a rose coloured rim; 70% opaque. Lively on the nose, with sweet raspberry and fresh mint leaves. Sweet and balanced impact, with a lovely thick texture. Big fruit, black cherries in syrup that lead through to and dominate the aftertaste. This is just fabulous vintage port. 96 points
