1977 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 3 hours - Firm red centre, red edge, 50% opaque. Attractive nose, some heat but plenty of fresh red cherry. Sharp attack, dominated by a fruity bitterness. Underneath lies a core of sweet fruit - a bit dirty - which struggles to come through. Sweet red raspberry jelly on the finish, and a good length. Perhaps this is in need of more time in the cellar to develop a better balance. not a good bottle. 85 points
