1977 Taylor Vintage Port

Post by Al B. »

Decant: 9½ hours - Modest, mature red, 50% opaque. Delicious nose, sweet redcurrant and cloves on the nose - full of scent. Sweet and modestly fruity entry with a slight pine woodiness. Delightful development on the palate. Very elegant and refined but the gentle, dusty tannins never completely vanish. Slight heat on the aftertaste, followed by a dry and slightly bitter fruit finish. 91 points
