    The demise predicted by the previous reviewer is not at all evident. This wine is in perfectly good shape if handled properly, i.e. giving it some air. It's not a blockbuster by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a solid wine that is fine for near term drinking over the next 5-7 years before it declines.

    Tasted with two hour decant time and then drunk over the next 90 minutes. Very fruity nose with a color that's medium red with a bit of browning. The alcohol is only a little hot. The palate is slightly dry with a medium sweetness. It paired really well with various chocolates. (90 pts.)
