TN: 2010 Quinta da Manoella Vinhas Velhas (Wine & Soul) Douro Red

Decanted 4.5 hrs. Dark red colour with a light rim. Pleasantly balanced aroma of berries and oak, and a hint of flowers. Douro all the way. Full body. Quite elegant, a lot of berries, some oak, pleasant tannins. A very nice Douro red, but a couple of points lower than the 2009-vintage. Will store the remaining bottles for a year or two. 92 pts.
