Tasted blind in a lineup of 1983 Vintage Ports.
Brick-red-amber color. Some menthol aroma, and smoky too, with a light meat/jerky character. In the mouth, light fruit and body; subtle flavors; followed by a slightly rotten flavor and aroma. Light cinnamon. 88 points. (20 Apr 13)
