Vintage Madeiras

Post by Ted P. »

I am on this forum as Roy and I have a mutual acquaintance. I am getting a little old now and it is time I passed on some Vintage Madeiras that I have had in my cellar for quite a few years. I would like to sell them for a reasonable price. I am getting a little old for this and I now have left in my cellar 1 bottle each of

1835 Sercial Solera, Blandy’s,
1916 Malmsey, Cossart,
1934 Bual, Cossart.

Ullage is good on them all but the solera has a torn label and is weeping slightly as is the Bual. They have all been properly cellared since I bought them in London U.K. in the 80s. These vintage wines were rare when I bought them and as Madeiras they never get old nor go bad. They are "Bad Wines gone Good" [yahoo.gif] I am asking $650 for the Sercial, $400 for the Malmsey and $350 for the Bual. Shipping and Handling are not included. You are welcome to pick them up yourself if you prefer. [cheers.gif] I live in Montreal, Canada and am a Member and Past President of the International Wine and Food Society, Montreal Branch.
