An Offering Of Niepoort
All ports were purchased directly from the importer (except the 1982 - auction purchase 14 years ago).
They have been stored at 55 degrees in professional storage since purchase.
All are in great condition & can send pictures if needed.
The colheitas are a great vertical tasting, wish somebody on the forum would do it.
Vintage Port:
1994 Quinta do Passadouro MAGNUMS 3 @ $60.00
1992 Niepoort MAGNUMS 3 @ $95.00
1992 Quinta do Passadouro 1 @ $40.00
1985 Niepoort 2 @ $20.00 (a bad vintage for Niepoort)
1982 Niepoort 6 @ $50.00
Niepoort Colheita:
1988 1 @ $50
1986 1 @ $55
1982 1 @ $60
1980 1 @ $60
1979 1 @ $70
1978 1 @ $75
1977 1 @ $80
1976 1 @ $90
1963 4 @ $200
1962 3 @ $200
1957 1 @ $450 - the high price reflects its being the best wine of the vintage
1952 1 @ $325
1952 1 @ $300 (Garrefeira: bottled 1955, decanted 1987)
1950 1 @ $300 (Garrefeira: bottled 1955, decanted 1979)
1937 1 @ $500
Garrefeira is a Niepoort style of tawny which spends most of its time in the cellar in demijohns (put in on the bottled date), then put in individual bottles for sale on the decanted date.
You can send email using: iloveport@gmail.com. I check this more often than private messages on the forum. First come first sold.

Shawn,
Please do immediately include a last name in your profile and the name of your business, so that I may be able to leave this offering in place. I appreciate your offerings being posted on this website ... and am sure that the folks here also do, but without a last name and business name entered, I will not be able to keep it here.
Thank you!
Roy

Hi All
The profile section does not have a place to enter ones name and business, unless it is included in the signature section. I do not like to include my business name in what is a private offering from my cellar - not a comercial venture. Since Roy asked, I will include details on my background.
I did import port directly in containers to my business D'Vine Wine Merchants which operated in Napa for fourteen years. The specialty was port and an extensive list was mailed out to my customers.
I also have been in wine production in Napa since 1976. I had a bonded winery in Napa for fourteen years. The first vintage of Napa Valley Port Cellars was 1984, and the first vintage of Quinta California was 1988. This is why I am using the name of portmaker. If we had more members from Portugal I might change my username to port?maker. But since my first vintage ports are holding well at twenty years of age, I will keep the name. I am proud of them and wish more of you lived close to crack a bottle of port with.
So those are my businesses, former & present, but again this is not a business offering. I saved many choice bottles for my personal collection. I pay many thousands in wine storage bills each year and have been thinning the cellar to get it down to a managable size. I'm sure some of you wish you had my problem, but that is the way it is.
