I wasn't expecting much of this, but again I was surprise with a white wine from the Douro.
Clear pale straw color, nice nose with ripe fruit flavors of pear and apple, some flint stone and orange peal complement the bouquet with time. Smooth on the palate, again with ripe white fruit flavours, good acidity and minerality on the finale leaving a creamy ripe pear flavoured texture. For around 20$ can, it is a very nice white Douro wine, finely made, no flaw and simple but precise flavour. 15.5/20

Living the dream and now working for a Port company
I had an earlier vintage of this wine and thought it was a quality food wine for the price. I am happy to see (recent few trips) that the quality of the Douro white wines is finally being paid attention to.
