Hey all,
Many of you were at the '83 horizontal tasting a while back and were impressed by the '83 Ficklin California port-like-substance. I received one of K and L's email blasts and noticed a clutch of Ficklin, including the '83 ($69), at well below winery prices.

They seem to have a new crop of older port as well (most at the usual high prices).

The 03 Lake County is a steal. The vineyard was grubbed up a few years ago. Still youthful, this could go another dozen years at least.
