1985 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Almost a grey shade of red, definitely mature; 40% opaque. Soft fruit on the nose full of sweet blueberries. Elegant on entry with lovely poise and delightful texture. Great impact, great mid-palate but an unexpected hollowness to the late palate. Pleasant port with gentle tannins which will easily last another couple of decades. 88 points
