2007 Lamelas Vintage Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - From Quinta das Lamelas. Deep red and opaque. Stewed blackcurrants on the nose. Sweet fruit, gentle tannins that grow quite large. Good structure, good balance with a palate of dense fruit and chocolate. Tannins grip the palate on the aftertaste, before a finish which is full of persistent fruit and refined tannins that taste like smooth, dark chocolate. Enjoyable port. 90 points
