1967 Noval Vintage Port
Decant: 3 hours - Slightly cloudy, red centre with a rose rim; 50% opaque. Sharp fruit on the nose, well focussed but slightly sour. Sweet brown sugar on entry, but then sharp and acidic. Acidity dominates on the aftertaste, but this does eventually turn into a gentle and long lasting finish. Sharp and not well balanced but enjoyable nevertheless. 86 points
