1987 Noval Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - An unreleased vintage. Deep red, showing a little maturity but still firm on the rim; 70% opaque. Generous levels of fruit on the nose, quite sharp but attractive. Dusty tannins show on the palate; a little thin and slightly lightweight with a pleasant dustiness coming through the sharp cranberry fruit. Cranberries linger on the aftertaste and finish. Tasty port, but still too young. 87 points
