Decant: Not Known - Deep red, maroon and with a solid rim. Generous levels of fruit but massive tannins grip rigidly and don't let go - but the fruit is so powerful that eventually the tannins relent a little and allow the spicy fruitiness to dominate. Long cedar wood finish. On this showing, this is a monumental wine. 98 points
