Decant: Not known - 220 cases made. Intense and opaque, deep purple in colour. Pure blackcurrants on the lovely, floral nose. A wave of blackcurrant on entry, fabulously floral then intense ripe tannins that grow and grow. Wonderful aromatics, full of roses and lavender. Blackcurrant aftertaste, then a sudden wave of tannins grip and hold for an immense time. This is legendary port in its infancy. 97-99. 97 points
