1983 Roeda Vintage Port
Decant: 8½ hours - Croft. Slightly cloudy and pale red-brown colour. Very gentle on the nose, a bit of fruit and milky coffee. Lightweight entry, light palate but a slightly watery texture. Soft coffee and some lychee sweetness on the mid- and late-palate. The coffee dominates the aftertaste, then a sensation of apples and apple juice before a quick fade. Not impressive. 80 points
