1986 Terra Feita Vintage Port

Decant: 7 hours - Brick red, pale orange rim; 20% opaque. Big nose, with lots of slightly sour rhubarb. Slightly sour on the palate too, with lots of dried fruit and a grapefruit acidity. The tannins are very noticeable on the palate. The acidity dominates over the fruit; a hot aftertaste leads to a white pepper and bramble finish. A pleasant port, but one which will be better in 10 years. 85 points
