Decant: 6 hours - Burnished gold in colour, light; 10% opaque. Soft blackcurrants on the nose, lots of golden sultanas. Neutral entry, sweet acidity bringing mature fruit that becomes surprisingly mouthfilling and dominating to be rich and powerful. Lovely fruity and lingering finish, full of rich fruitcake. Elegant as well as flavoursome. From a very hot year. 89 points
