I think I would be interested in a few for this price. In my region minimum is 31,90 EUR.

This is a typical price for this wine and it is well worth the asking price. It is the best Port ever produced by Quinta do Silval, imo.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

Is Noval's Silval a true SQ - i.e. entirely from Q. Silval, or is it a blend of wines including Q. Silval?

- I thought it was the latter, but I could be mistaken..

Pro Noval Silval SQ:

If you choose for searching: "Silval" you get "Silval Vintage 1998: 45 EUR"
and "Silval Vintage 2000, 25 EUR".

If you choose "Quinta do Noval" you also get "Silval Vintage 1998: 45 EUR".

My conclusion: they forgot Silval 2000 if you choose "Quinta do Noval.

But yes, it's not very clear.

Is this Quinta do Silval 2000 or Quinta do Noval Silval 2000 ?
- these are two entirely different wines from different producers

Noval use "Silval" as a brand name - and, as far as I can remember, it is not an SQVP but a blend of wines from QdN and other Quinta's - but not Qunita do Silval

Quinta do Silval is an independant Quinta that is now a hotel - Roy posted a report on them in advance of the Harvest Trip last year to make us all believe that that is where we would be staying in the Douro - and we fell fo it
