Costco Liquor Store - Sherwood Park, AB, Canada

I actually live in Sherwood Park, a suburb community just outside of Edmonton (as my profile states) but I figured Edmonton might be more recognizable to folks. Furthermore, I know there are just a couple of us registered that are in this area... but just in case there are some lurkers from the Edmonton-area, thought I'd drop a quick note about the Costco Liquor Store in the Park.

Right now, they just received a couple of new shipments. The Port selection recently has been poor, with just the Taylor 10 (still a good price at $23.50+tax/deposit. which brings it to around $25/bottle.)

Tonight I was in there and they had the following:

The Taylor Century of Port Gift Set (375s of 10, 20, 30, 40 YO) I cannot recall how much, for some reason $200 sticks in my brain, but I know it is usually $230-250 everywhere else.

Quinta do Noval Silval VP 2003 - $49+tax/dep. Compared to deVines at $68 incl.

and the one I'm excited about:
Graham's VP 2003 $80+tax/dep. Compared to deVines at $110 incl.

I'm going to perhaps buy one or two bottles of the Graham's at that price, simply because I would hate for it to sell out and to miss the chance to buy it $30 less than anywhere else. But I'm going to keep my eye on their stock levels and if it looks like they are still fully-stocked as Dec 31st approaches, I suspect the price-drop to $50-60 would be coming soon after that. Here's hoping!!!

The Quinta do Noval Silval 2003 is a great buy. Rated 94 by WS, this is a great bang for your buck. Good on Costco in Alberta to deliver on this. No way that would happen in BC. They'd probably charge $10 more.

I dig any vintage rated in the 90s with a price range of less than $50. Quinta do Roriz has a bunch.
