Factoids:
-I bid on 6 lots and got shut out by 30-55% on all of them.
-7 of these wines don't seem to exist anywhere and/or are not on the MWG vintage list
-Establishing market value on almost every one of these lots was very difficult beyond looking at same wines from same/similar vintages/houses.
-That said, the high estimate for the 1862 Blandy's Vedelho (lot 168) was absurdly low. (PS if one one you won it I would trade you my first born for a glass

-Most of this Avery's Madeira, perhaps all, is from Cossart - the wines are pre-MWC but I believe the bottles are middle 20th c.
-Lots 156, 157 & 158 were all passed but they don't exist in the downloadable excel file and I wonder if they were passed or withdrawn quietly (I didn't attend or watch live)
The Madeira lots were:
