Bottled 2007, a full 6 year aged LBV. T stopper, perfect fill, etc.
Decanted 2 hours. Mostly opaque with only a touch of color fade beginning to show in the edges Fairly simple nose of jammy red fruits with touches of black/berry fruits, and cinnamon and heat.
Palate is fairly straight forward as well, with the fruit coming mostly upfront, and the spice and heat to close. Some decent grip as well, indicating this isn't close to dying, but I'm not sure additional age is going to bring about any improvement. The simplicity and heat make me think this is best enjoyed now.
