TN: 2011 Quinta do Crasto Reserva Douro red

Decanted 4 hrs. Dark red colour. Fantastic fruity aroma with elements of soil, a touch vanilla and oak. Full body. Complex, powerful but still quite “round” in style. Nice balance acidity/sweetness and a well-structured Douro red. Slightly dry towards the end. Nice tannins. Long aftertaste. Will continue with decanting time 4 hrs (or possible slightly longer). 94 pts.
