TN: 2012 Pintas (Wine & Soul) Douro red

Decanted 4 hrs. Dark red with a light rim. Fresh, fruity aroma of dark berries and some minerals. Medium to full body. At start of tasting it was fruity and elegant, but later on became also more and more powerful (which was good). Nicely integrated minerals combined with a significant and acceptable acidity towards the end. A well-structured and well-balanced Douro red. Medium length aftertaste which actually included some cherries. 94 pts.
