TN: 2007 Niepoort Charme Douro red

Decanted 3.5 hrs. Very little sediments. Medium red colour. Aroma dominated by minerals and something like acidity, and in addition oak. Medium body. Powerful, elegant, quite round in style, and some acidity. Minerals is lurking behind throughout the tasting. Long aftertaste. We have one more bottle and will drink that soon. 92 pts.
