TN: 2009 Quinta do Vale Meao Douro red

Post by Rune EG »

Decanted 2.5 hrs. Dark purple colour. Marvelous aroma of fruit, oak and minerals. Actually, also a hint of smoked meat. Full body. Powerful and elegant with pleasant tannins. Dry towards the end, which worked very well. Excellent structure and nice balance acidity/sweetness. Long aftertaste. Very nice bottle. 95 pts.

I do need to buy more VM wines. They’re just hard to find near me at times. Thanks for the note on it.
