Decanted 1 hr. The cork was unbelievable hard to pull out, and had to use a lot of strength. The cork was shaped in a way that it was much wider in the lower part of the cork, which I believe was the reason for having problems in getting it out of the bottle.
1st half had medium purple colour. Strong fruity aroma with oak in the background. Medium to full body. Quite powerful taste with a combination of oak/soil/terroir. Relatively dry style.
Consumed the 2nd half after totally 2.5 hrs air-time. The colour was then dark red. Berries were more evident in the aroma, but still with the oak in the background. Taste is powerful with berries and increasing acidity. Medium length aftertaste. 87 pts.
