Decanted far before necessary. After an hour I tasted it and put it back into the original bottle. There was no reason to give more air to this. Absolutely a spectacular showing! So incredibly suave and intense at the same time. After tasting this one of my guests wanted to go to Portugal! Very impressive. Complex and forward, but lots of layers to this wine. Wish I had bought more of this. This is probably the best showing of a Ponte in my collection. Stunning! 97 points.
