TN: 2009 Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa Douro red

Have had six bottles of the 2009 Crasto Maria Teresa, all in the 95-97 range (average 96 pts).
Decanted 7 hrs. Dark red colour with a light rim. Wonderful fresh aroma of oak, minerals and berries. Full body. Powerful with fantastic elegance. Taste is the distinct and typical Crasto-balance of berries/oak/minerals in a fantastic combination. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness and excellent structure. Long aftertaste. 96 pts.
