NV Quinta do Portal White Port

Quinta do Portal White Port [NV]
I am not sure this is a "lagrima" white, but if you typically avoid white ports because they are too dry or not as sweet as regular Port, well, if you see this one, give it a chance. I thought it was an excellent white and I enjoyed it very much. So much that when I couldn't get any bottles that evening after the tasting, I had them immediately order in two more cases, of which I will like take one full case off their hands.

Darker, amber colour, like dark honey. Biting nose, both fresh and heavy. Some ginger/spice with a floral, ripe pear that was surprisingly, very appealing. A bit f biting acidity through the middle palate and on the finish.
On the palate, honeysuckle, ginger spiciness with a touch of pear and strong, concentrated white grapes. Some honey. I found less acidity than expected, but enough to keep the sugars in check just enough to balance this out on a very good white Port that is selling for $20/bottle.
