Last night Stewart and his gal came over for a mini wine dinner. Five of us, with four drinking. We started off with a less than perfect Vinho Verde and followed by a bubbly from New Mexico. Those don't count.
We then had a very fine bottle of 2000 Ferreirinha, Quinta da Leda which was quite good, followed by a 2005 Dow's Vale do Bomfim which was good but nothing special. At $5 less for the latter bottle which I believe was $17, (so at $12) I would have seen it as a good value.
We finished the night with a stellar bottle of 1980 Ferreira. TNs appear on the homepage if you want more detail.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
