1950 Graham Vintage Port

Post by SEAN C. »

The 1950 Graham was a cloudy brick color with a bit of brown. It was very sweet smelling similar to flan and thick and rich in the glass. Almost immediately after opening it was drinking very well and at it's prime an hour and a half in. It was soft and round on the palate with notes of strawberry and pineapple. Compared to the primary tastes the finish was slightly tart. The '50 Graham was almost as good as the 1955 but still well behind the 1948.
