1994 Graham's Vintage Port

1994 Graham's. Tasted the same night as the Crasto '94, 11-15 08. Purchased and cellared since release. Decanted around 2 pm. Also grainy sediment. Surprisingly small cork(about half the size of the '97 Gaja Sori Tilden cork we had for dinner that night) which finally broke. Dark purple color, reddish ruby rim. Pronounced, youthful aromas purple and blue fruits, a touch of brown sugar, still primary. Very sweet, full body, medium tannin, balanced acidity, spicy fruit character similar to the nose, a little spirity, very long finish. Good structure, not quite as balanced as the Crasto (Crasto is maturing faster, as one would expect). The Graham's could be consumed now, but I would wait until it hits 20 years.

Hi Michael,

I also had this the other night, Friday to be exact. It is a stunning youngster and I can't wait to watch this evolve over the next couple of decades. I think it has better potential than anything produced by Graham's since the 1970!

Can I ask a small favor. This month, in the VIRTUAL TASTING FORUM, in the first post there, we are including current TNs from 1994 VPs. Would you mind also copying this there please.

First you highlight and copy (CTRL + C) and when you have gone in and created a new post in that thread, paste by using (CTRL + V). Is that what you were asking?
