2007 Cockburn's Quinta dos Canais Touriga Nacional Vintage Port -- cask sample

This makes up at least 50% of all Cockburn's Vintage Ports. The nose had lots of dark fruits of blackberry and plums. The palate was actually very creamy on the tip of the tounge, with massive tannins, moderate acidity, dark berries, tobbaco, chocolate, and a big filling mid palate that led into a long full finish. You can see how this is considered the backbone of all Vintage Ports. N/R
