1970 Cockburn
One of my favourite vintages of the last 38 years for any Port produced. Darker in colour than both the 1975 and 1977. The mid red optic led to a ripe date nose. A richer palate than the proceeding two Ports, a thread of alcohol and a tad unbalanced for me. Almost at its peak and a very nice drop of Port.
