1985 Graham Vintage Port - (1/9/2009)
Decanted 3 hours. Cork is soaked through. It had not leaked but was close to failing. Dark color. Not opaque, but still quite dark. Subtle nose. Nice spice, and not hot at all. On entry, burst of fruit, nice glyceral mouthfeel. Very well balanced. Good acid. Nice balance between red and black fruits. Obviously sweet in the finish. Very subtle tannins that started to grow as it sat in the glass. No heat or obvious alcohol at all. Nice wine. This would be the Pinot of Port as compared to many other Ports. Maybe a bit too polite. I'd prefer a bit more bite in the finish. Maybe a bit more concentration. But still a very nice, extremely clean wine.

2 days later - It aslo picked up weight with time as well. Showing even better now. Bumping up the score from 93 to 94. (94 pts.)
