1937 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2000)
Slightly darker than the Niepoort with a yellow edge and just a hint of green at the edge. Not as complex as the Niepoort and had a slight bandaid nose. Searing acidity on the palate but a simple medium body that wasn’t very inspiring. The bright side was a very long finsh. I’ve had much better bottles of this and not sure what happened here. 89 points.
