1977 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port
A youthful deep purple with no signs of age showing on this youngster. The nose also still shows some primary plums with licorise in the background. This explodes in the mouth with massive big waves of acidity, followed by tannins, and then dark fruit. It’s still young, tannic, and hard to drink at this stage of it’s life. I honestly think this will eclipse the 1970 Taylor in longevity, it is that good. 96 points.
