TN: 2007 Kopke Vinho Branco Douro

Opened this last night after it was well chilled and I needed something to beat the heat and smoke of all these fires. One glass was left so I finished that off, and then dove into a 2006 Quinta do Crasto Old Vine Reserva. But back to this bottle; no formal notes taken...but nice apples, pears, and glycerin on the mid palate really hit the spot. A well made Douro white that is hard to put down, only a glass of it survived to see the light of the next day. I'm down to only 2 more bottles of this, which isn't good. I wish I had more of it. 89 points
