I was pouring CARM and Crasto at the recent ESO fundraiser here in Edmonton but was fortunate to try quite a few wines during the evening. One of the highlights was the `95 LBV from SW.
This was very nice. Plums, strawberries and chocolate. A slight touch of heat, but nothing really off-putting. Nice weight and length and drank like a vintage port. $36 and there is one store carrying this wine!

This is one LBV I've always been a fan of, and the 1999 too. But the '95 has always been my favorite of the two vintages. Luckily our prices are a bit better as the first bottles I got at about $22 and the last ones at $25. I still have one left and it's been on Death Row for some time now.....
