2007 Quinta das Lamelas Vintage Port

Quinta das Lamelas located in Cambres/Lamego, closer to Rozes vinification center, 12 hect of red vineyards and 8 hect of white vineyards.
Jose Guedes has just bottled the 2007 VP with 20% alcohol content, the vinification was made with Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz.

8000 bottles were bottled with the "Wine Passion WISE" hallmark (best relationship qualty/price).

On the nose, very smooth and with a strong dried plum and resine hints in the end.

Good purple colour.

On the palate, chewy, sweet, rasperry and licorice...the tanins still quite strong, refreshing... after a few minutes and on the edge of the delayed after taste a banana feeling.

Good surprise.
