I should post more on Portuguese table wines as the majority of the dry wine I drink are from Portugal, but nothing fancy. Many small brands are distributed through New England.

Great everyday wine with a lovely berry nose. 14% alcohol but not hot tasting at all. Full bodied and rich tasting. $8.00

Hey Moses - John from Toronto recommends Casa de Santa Vitoria Tinto if you want another a la cheap Alentejo. It was the best one i came across from the recent 2007's. Is $15 here, likely only $8-9 south of the border. (blasted Liquor Control Board)
