Last night was a huge Ridge Jimsomare dinner I had organized with bottles going back to the 1968 Zinfandel. Quite the epic adventure and on top of all the Ridge's we had a number of great dessert wines too. One of the attendees brought this bottle along. Here is my tasting note on the Taylor's.
Decanted 4 hours, this was very light ruby and not right. From the time I saw it and smelled it I knew something wasn’t right. When I tasted it, it was hot, lean, and a bit simple. It seemed to have suffered heat damage somewhere along the way. A real shame as this is normally a awesome Port.

Yes, tawny colored with muted flavors. Not nearly as good as other recent bottles.
