After a big blowout bash last year, all I wanted was a nice quiet day to relax.
Sunday was my bd and I knew it was my last chance to finish off the FTLOP newsletter. So not even a glass of celebratory wine was enjoyed as I was like a college student making sure all the last minute preparations were right before taking the test. I did take time for a nice dinner on our deck with my wife and daughter and like a good dad, took our little one to see Wall-E which she loved, seemingly along with all the grown-ups and kids in the theater. Now that it is complete and the 52 pages are behind me, I can focus on the next one. : ) As for birthdays, they come and go and don't stop until ... There will be other times to celebrate. |
