If I could only pick one grape from which to have one last sip of its nectar, undoubtedly, it would be TERRANTEZ. Contrary to rumors, Terrantez is not dead, it just smells funny.In a very good way!
How would you like to start YOUR weekend?
DUAS QUINTAS .... a fine expression of Douro!A pair of excellent 2012s from Ramos Pinto.
A sweet evening.
See you again, soon!
Quinta do Noval ... not as well known for their incredible Colheitas, this was very good indeed. There Vintage Ports made Noval famous, but from their Unfiltered LBVs, Reserve Ruby (Noval BLACK) and their 10, 20 and 40 year old Tawnies and Colheitas ... across the board, many great Ports
Jose Maria Cálem is producing very impressive Douro wines nowadays, as well as expressive Ports from Quinta do Sagrado.

A great way to start off a weekend. PORT!
If you'd like some Port, step right up. We don't need a reason ... it's Friday!
Any Port in a storm!
Magnum madness.
Quinta do Crasto 2014 Branco. A crisp and fruit driven white wine from the Douro, perfect on a sunny afternoon sailing on the river.
A recent trio of Krohn Colheitas.
The natural beauty of the historic Douro property known as Quinta do Bomfim. I did not take this photo, but it is perfectly represents the exemplary site in the heartland of Pinhão. Bomfim is the backbone and supplies the grapes that make up Dow's Ports.
W.I.L.D. = Why I love demijohns.
Weekend thoughts:19th century Ports @ Quinta de Villar d'Allen.
Lineup the usual suspects!
More Malvasia please!
